The American Society For Training And Development is the world’s largest association dedicated to workplace learning and performance professionals.
The Workforce Investment Board’s mandate is to conduct strategic planning, create policy, and provide oversight and accountability for adult and youth training programs funded through the Workforce Investment Act. The Capital Region Workforce Investment Board was created to serve Albany, Schenectady, and Rensselaer counties. The purpose of the Job Placement Consortium is to facilitate job placement of individuals represented by its members, to inform employers about advantages and financial incentive programs available when hiring these individuals, to participate in community awareness and advocacy activities in order to improve opportunities for individuals seeking employment, and to assist members by providing a forum for networking and professional development.
